With the high capacity of residents which will be utilising the facility the product chosen had to be extremely durable, for high traffic and easy to maintain and keep looking beautiful – that is why TREX Transcend was utilised for this project.

The colour had to look like a natural wood product that is was regularly used on marine and river jetties originally; but it had to perform without the intense maintenance timber is often associated with, the decks also had to be entirely splinter free as it is a child friendly family resident estate.

Installation was no easy feat either with 2 large circular walk-ways and curved floating jetties, as well as an intense and condensed installation time frame provided for the project – Kiwi Timber Decking can be proud to have been associated with this project along with us at On The Deck.
